Job Purpose  The Project Engineer requires thorough knowledge of a discipline within New Rig Construction and Management, relating to the delivery of a specialist area within the New Build or Rig Refurbishment Contract. This expertise will be either Structural, Mechanical, Piping or Electrical Instrumentation lead and the candidate will be the key stakeholder in the management and delivery of his area of expertise. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this will be a hands-on, site-based role, leading the physical delivery of the subject area, whether undertaken directly or by a nominated Contractor or Specialist Sub-Contractor. The Project Engineer will be responsible that standards and procedures are followed, particularly in relation to Health and Safety and on time and On Budget delivery.
