Strategic role within the QIT Madagascar Mineral (QMM) division of Client;

About the job
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to lead QMM's financial planning as well as internal relations primarily with Client's finance and commercial functions (controllership, business analysis, risk management, procurement, sales, etc.).

This position will also require participation in continuous improvement, cost reduction and value creation activities, and advancing strategic initiatives to improve QMM's performance. The position may therefore evolve according to the priorities of the company. You will report to QMM's Senior Finance Business Partner and will have the following tasks:

Direct the management accounting and financial planning activities of QMM, including among others the preparation of pro-forma financial reports and forecasts;
Analyze and explain the financial results for our shareholders and the QMM management team;
Develop excellent relationships and maintain a high level of engagement with the operations team and other corporate functions, contributing to a common vision on the cost structure and the optimization of the value of company;
Develop relationships with Client's finance function, and ensure we get the support required to achieve our objectives;
Act as a point of contact with various internal teams in order to contribute and monitor the progress of the main initiatives for cost reduction, risk management, capital, working capital, value creation, etc .;
Contribute to QMM's strategic activities and initiatives with a view to improving the performance of the company;
Supported the main finance business partner in the management of the finance team;
Manage a team of professional employees and ensure the development of its performance, in accordance with Client's values, in order to achieve the objectives.

About you
For your application to be considered, the requirements are as follows:
University degree in finance and / or accounting. Professional accreditation in accounting (CA);
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to adapt to all levels of the organization;
Excellent command of oral and written French;
Good command of English;
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, business analysis and / or business strategy;
Mastery of accounting IT systems and Microsoft Office;
Strong analytical skills and understanding of the main financial and commercial levers;
Ability to formulate a strategic vision and synthesize information to support business planning and decision making by QMM executives;
Ability to exercise effective leadership and influence in a functional role;


Strengths:
Experience in advanced financial modeling
Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate financial information including key profitability and performance indicators;
Experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial contracts;
Possess an MBA would be an asset.
